Overview
Bac Si Controls is a veteran-owned business focused on infectious disease control and prevention, planning and administration, working as a contractor to government and private-sector clients.
The name is Vietnamese. Bác Sĩ means doctor, and it is what the people founder James Hunter treated called him while he served as a combat medic in the Mekong Delta in 1970, after the caduceus on his uniform. He has worked in healthcare ever since, as a nurse, an administrator, and a certified infection control practitioner.
The identity is built on that service: a custom-illustrated Huey for a mark, camo green and medic red for a palette, and a gauze texture in the white.

The Mark
The helicopter is drawn rather than sourced. Stock art would have given us a generic silhouette, and the category is full of them, so the Huey was illustrated for this identity alone — head on, with a medic cross on the nose and the rotor drawn as a single arc.

Where It Comes From
James Hunter in Vietnam, 1970, beside the aircraft the mark is drawn from. He served as a combat medic in the Mekong Delta, qualified to work at remote locations without a physician.

Research
Huey photography, military insignia and medical iconography, alongside the helicopter logos already in the category. Seeing how many of those resolve to the same side profile is what pushed the mark to a head-on view.

Colour and Texture
Camo green and medic red, PMS 5625 and PMS 186, carrying the two halves of the founder's service. The white in the logo is not flat: it holds the texture of medical gauze.
The guidelines cover the horizontal and stacked lockups, and the versions for white, dark and green backgrounds.

The Website
The homepage leads with the helicopter scene, then works down through the founder's service, his training, and the recognition behind it.
The Vietnamese definition of Bác Sĩ sits near the top, so the name explains itself before anyone has to ask.
